The fourth annual Stanley-Sawtooth Cowboy Poetry Music Gathering presented by the Sawtooth Mountain Mamas will be held Friday, Sept. 4, and Saturday, Sept. 5, in downtown Stanley.
All events for the Stanley-Sawtooth Cowboy Poetry Music Gathering are free unless noted, thanks to the support of Gerheim Gallery, Sawtooth Mountain Guides, the Stanley Sluice Alehouse and the Stanley Library.
Of course, donations will be gleefully accepted.
The Stanley Sluice Alehouse will offer a Cowboy Poetry BBQ rib dinner on Saturday, Sept. 5, beginning at 5 p.m. with a half rack of ribs, baked beans and potato salad for $15.99 per person.
This year’s poets include: Layle Bagley, Rexburg, Idaho; Ellie Corrigan, Challis, Idaho; Terry Fuhriman, Idaho; Sam Deelew, Utah, and Ken Wellard, Sandy, Utah.
Musicians and singers include: David Anderson, Utah; Sam Mattise, Boise, Idaho; Arden Gailey, Arizona; Chris Mortensen, Utah; Robin Arnold, Utah, and Wayne Hughes, Stanley.
