STORY AND PHOTOS BY KAREN BOSSICK

Chad and Jennifer Bertoni pride themselves on offering a one-stop spot for technology needs, from repair to education to purchasing new products.

They’re the proud owners of Click IT, an information technology store located on the Centennial Station Building at 400 N. Main St. in Hailey.

“With us, you don’t have to leave town anymore,” said Chad Bertoni.

The Bertonis had spent 30 years visiting family in the Wood River Valley before deciding to move here in 2018. Chad Bertoni had spent a decade working for a Twin Falls-based technology company when he and his wife decided to open a store here, in part because of the COVID pandemic which made it difficult for Chad to travel in his previous job.

They partnered with Click IT, which was founded in 2012 in Chagrin Falls, a suburb of Cleveland, and has expanded to Main Streets across the country.

The bricks-and-mortar store offers computer services, website design, repairs, copiers and printers. It offers free security checks for laptops and free Lunch and Learn seminars. Heck, you can even buy a computer here.

The Bertonis recently celebrated a grand opening at their store, marking the first official ribbon cutting for The Chamber since the COVID pandemic began. They beat out Grocery Outlet’s ribbon cutting by a smidgeon.

And the family was all there, including two sets of Moms and Dads, two daughters who reside locally and a son who attends Wood River High School. Another son lives in Meridian.

“We love the town of Hailey and decided there was a need for more I.T. help here,” Chad Bertoni said.

BAH TONIGHT

While ClickIt was The Chamber’s first post-pandemic ribbon cutting, the first BAH since COVID will be held tonight in Ketchum.

First Interstate Bank and Pioneer Title will host The Chamber’s first office post-COVID Business After Hours from 5 to 7 tonight—Thursday, July 22, at 491 N. Main St. in Ketchum.

The public is invited. Fourth of July Parade float winners will be announced. And The Chamber will give away two pairs of tickets to the Coors Showdown Rodeo in Hailey on Aug. 7. The showdown will feature five events, including bull riding and women’s bareback roping.
