Then you’ll be pleased to learn that the Sun Valley Gallery Association is resuming its Gallery Walks during the summer of 2021.
The eight galleries belonging to the Gallery Association will throw open their doors, serving up refreshments as they do, in August and September.
Gallery walks will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6, and Friday, Sept. 3. Some galleries plan to hold exhibition openings on Friday, July 2, as well.
Fully vaccinated visitors will be welcome to enjoy the walks without face masks, in accordance with the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and City of Ketchum. Those who are not yet vaccinated are asked to wear masks while in the galleries.
Individual galleries may limit the number of visitors inside to protect the health and safety of gallery staff and visitors.
Sun Valley Gallery Association member galleries include Broschofsky Galleries, Frederic Boloix Fine Arts, Friesen Gallery, Gail Severn Gallery, Gilman Contemporary, Kneeland Gallery, MESH Gallery and Sun Valley Museum of Art.
The galleries holding exhibitions on July 2 are Friesen Gallery, Gail Severn Gallery and Kneeland Gallery, all located on First Avenue. Gilman Contemporary will hold an exhibition celebration on July 8, the same night Sun Valley Museum of Art is holding tours of its exhibition at 4:30 and 5:30 p.m.
