The Sun Valley Museum of Art will host a free JPC After-Hours tour of its exhibition “The Bottomlessness of a Pond: Transcendentalism, Nature and Spirit,” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27.
The event is being presented by the museum’s Junior Patrons Circle, a group of youngish adults dedicated to fostering passion for arts and culture. But, though geared toward young adults, it is open to the public.
In addition to the tour, attendees will have the opportunity to create a wire sculpture that reflects their personal connection to nature. The exercise will be led by the museum’s Art Therapist and Enrichment Educator Jordyn Dooley and will be based on a sculpture project created by artist Lesley Dill.
The museum will provide the materials for the project. And refreshments will be served.
The Junior Patrons Circle is designed to develop future arts advocates. JPC members enjoy discounts on classes and tickets for certain programs and have the opportunity to purchase concert series tickets before they go on sale to the general public.
