A ribbon cutting for newly installed signage promoting the #988 suicide and crisis lifeline will be held on Wednesday, March 20.

The ribbon cutting will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Twin Falls Visitor Center adjacent to the Perrine Bridge in Twin Falls.

The effort is being hosted by the Twin Falls Area Chamber of commerce. The signage is the senior project of Twin Falls High School student Kadynce Neitzke (pronounced night-ski). The sign is being placed adjacent to the bridge at the Twin Falls Visitor Center.

Local mental healthcare providers and non-profit organizations focused on suicide awareness, prevention and support will be on hand, along with elected officials, local law enforcement and representatives from the Twin Falls School District.

“Kadynce is an awesome student and has done a great job on this project,” said Kyle Tarbet, president and CEO of the Twin Falls Area Chamber of Commerce.
