Buoyed by recent new snow, Sun Valley Resort announced Friday that it plans to extend its ski season this year.

Dollar Mountain will close on March 31, Seattle Ridge on April 7, River Run on April 14 and Warm Springs on April 21.

Discounted lift tickets will be available for the last week of skiing on Warm Springs for $99 a day for adults and seniors, $69 a day for children for tickets purchased online at www.sunvalley.com.

Additionally:

Sun Valley Resort will host its Easter Egg Hunt at 5 p.m. Friday, March 29, on the Pavilion Lawn.

The Cold Bowl Pond Skim and Dollar Dayz will take place on March 31.

And the Annual Baldy Bash celebrating the final week of the season will begin at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 13.
