The connections between Winston Churchill and Sun Valley’s Averell Harriman and their families will be discussed during one of five presentations being offered this week at Ketchum’s Community Library.

Smith will talk about how they were reintroduced, how they have impacted the ecosystem and how the human controversy continues to be the wolves’ biggest challenge.

Smith has co-authored three books on wolves, including “The Wolves of Yellowstone & Decade of the Wolf,” which won the 2005 Montana Book Award for best book published in Montana. He has done more than 2,000 media interviews, including one on “60 Minutes.”
