Sixty years ago the City of Ketchum threw a birthday party for 84-year-old Kate Lewis, whose husband’s ore company ran the Big Hitch ore wagons that ferried ore down the steep narrow Trail Creek Road during the late 1800s.
The parade that was the centerpiece of that birthday party is still going strong 60 years later.
Eye on Sun Valley sent videographer Ben Parker out to capture the sights and sounds of the 60th annual Wagon Days Parade on Saturday.
We hope you’ll enjoy reliving it, even if you were there. And we hope you’ll share it with friends and family.
