Pond Skim Offers Rite of Passage for Die Hard Skiers

Saturday, April 9, 2022

Ski, sink, swim.

That is what some intrepid skiers and snowboarders ended up doing at Sun Valley Resort’s season-ending Pond Skim at Dollar Mountain this past week.

Of course, it was all in good fun, and the Sun Valley Ski Patrol had plenty of wool blankets awaiting those who didn’t make it all the way across the mini-swimming pool workers had built outside Carol’s Dollar Mountain Lodge. Check out the action in today’s Eye on Sun Valley video.
