None of them had ever built a snow sculpture before—unless you count the occasional snowman, that is.
But this past week the City of Hailey and The Chamber offered teams an 8-by-8-foot block of ice made out of snow plowed off the streets of Hailey and told them: Have a go at it.
Eye on Sun Valley’s Karen Bossick takes you to the scene of what organizers hope is Hailey’s inaugural Snow Carving Competition.
