Keller Williams volunteers plan to focus on mental wellness next week with “A Day for Hope.”

Keller Williams staff has set aside Thursday, May 12, as a day of service to educate the community about mental wellness and to help organizations that try to cultivate mental wellness in the community.

They have lined up spokespeople from NAMI-WRV and St. Luke’s to share information about the 5B Suicide Prevention alliance from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Community Campus in Hailey.

Then, Keller Williams volunteers will divide into two teams. One team will work at The Advocates and the other will go to the Building Thrift Store from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m.to help out with the Crisis Hotline. The teams will gather for lunch at the Senior Connection in Hailey from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., then switch teams as they go back to The Advocates and Building Thrift Store from 1:15 to 2 p.m.

The day of service is part of Keller Williams Realty’s RED Day, which stands for Renew, Energize and Donate, and participating community members are asked to wear red shirts.

KW Associates across the United States and Canada will donate their time to their communities on that day. Others are welcome to join and can do so by contacting Keller Williams at 208-622-7722.

In the past, Keller Williams employees have helped spruce up yards and homes of senior citizens, said Bailey, Brooks, licensed agent services coordinator for KW.
