The Senior Connection is holdings its fifth annual Cocktails for a Cause in a virtual format so supporters can participate in whatever format they enjoy.

The Virtual Party will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14.

People can watch the program live from the comfort of their couch, join a group of friends watching it or donate directly.

Those who donate will be entered in a drawing to win a 2020-21 season ski pass compliments of Sun Valley.

The Senior Connection kept its seniors safe and nourished at home at the beginning of the pandemic by expanding its Meals-to-Go program and offering take-out. In July it reopened its dining room and now is back in the business of offering exercise classes and even Bingo.

The demand for services has grown 420 percent since the COVID pandemic started, said Teresa Beahen Lipman, the organization’s executive director.
