Birds know how to social distance. In fact, it’s often helpful to have binoculars to check them out because they distance so well.
To that end the Environmental Resource Center is offering a series of Summer Bird Walks led by longtime ERC volunteer and birding extraordinaire Poo Wright-Pulliam.
The first walk will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 25, in Ketchum. The meeting location will be shared with participants upon registration.
Suggested donation is $10 for ERC members and $20 for non-members. Participants are asked to bring binoculars and a mask, in case birdwatchers need to gather within six feet of one another to examine a bird.
To register, call 208-726-4333 or email alisa@ercsv.org.
The other two bird walks in the series will take place on Thursday, July 23, and Thursday, Aug. 20.
