According to the familiar Christmas refrain, it’s the most wonderful time of the year.

In Sun Valley it’s also the “most busiest time of the year.”

Just check out Thursday night. Three’s three occasions to raise a glass of cheer from Barry Peterson’s open house to the Business After Hours at Jane’s Holiday House to Ketchum Innovation Center’s Open House.

  • The Chamber will hold its December Business After Hours from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, at Jane’s Holiday House at 12 East Bullion Street in Hailey.

Jane’s will offer 30 percent off everything in the store during the BAH for those looking for last-minute holiday gifts or decorations. Food and beverages will be provided to whet the appetite and a special guest from the North Pole is expected to drop in.

  • The Ketchum Innovation Center is throwing a December Holiday Party from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. There will be light appetizers and holiday spirits, along with festive music and an opportunity to bid on themed gift baskets with the proceeds going to support KIC.

KIC is located at 180 W. 6th St., in Ketchum.

  • Barry Peterson Fine Jewelers, home of the Diamond Sun, will hold a grand reopening Holiday Open House from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday. The party will include hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. Barry Peterson is located at 511 Sun Valley Road in Ketchum.
  • And Aether & Roadbars is holding a Pre-Holiday Sip & Shop at 4 p.m. at Hotel Ketchum. There’ll be light bites, DJ Joey Sides and 15 percent off AETHER Apparel at the AETHERStream trailer, in addition to specialty AETHER cocktails. Fifteen percent of all proceeds will go to The Hunger Coalition.

Other businesses in the complex, including Sun Valley Institute, Sun Valley Guides, Paddle Up Poke Sun Valley, Ash Aesthetics and The Hive, will also hold holiday open houses from 4 to 6 p.m. with drinks, snacks and shopping opportunities.
