The three newest films in The Reel Rock Film series, will be shown at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at the Wood River Community YMCA.
The free screening will feature:
- “The High Road,” which shows Nina Williams testing herself on some of the highest, most difficult boulder problems ever climbed.
- “United States of Joe’s” follows climbers colliding with a conservative coal mining community of Orangeville, Utah, with surprising results.
- “The Nose Speed Record” follows climbing legends Tommy Caldwell and Alex Honnold as they battle Yosemite dirtbags Jim Reynolds and Brad Gobright in a high stakes speed climbing race for greatness.
There also will be a sneak preview of the breathtaking scenery in the upcoming feature film “Lhotse.”
The screening is part of an ongoing series of film presentations made possible by the Roy A. Hunt Foundation.
