PEG Companies will hold an open house this week to answer questions about its proposal to construct a full-service boutique hotel in Ketchum’s Gateway.
The open house will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at the Argyros Performing Arts Center in Ketchum.
PEG plans to develop the vacant site at 280 River St. Engineers, architects, branding teams and others will be on hand to talk with the public.
PEG launched a 10-question community outreach survey in June asking participants to weigh in on design priorities and preferences.
“We appreciate the valuable insights we received from the community last summer through our digital survey,” said PEG Development Manager Nick Blayden. “In some cases, we reached out to respondents to clarify any ambiguous points in their imput and also to answer specific questions they asked in the open response portions of the survey. We then took inventory of the responses and incorporated much of the feedback into our plans.”
Though a Marriott property, the hotel will not be a massive mainstream Marriott hotel, added Blayden. It will be a one-of-a-kind hotel with a unique design. And every detail will be curated to fit Ketchum’s special culture and vibe.
