A seminar examining ways to combat Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s Disease, dementia, palsy, cochlear/balance disorders and other neurological disorders will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, at Zenergy Health Club and Spa in Ketchum.
The Mountain Mind Summit runs from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
It will include short talks from health science and neurological science experts, intermixed with group exercise classes targeted to maintain or retrain the nervous system led by nationally certified trainers.
Jennifer Riedel, a representative of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research will be among those taking part.
The seminar will address how you can help prevent, slow or manage your condition through nutrition, exercise and supplementation. It will include brain games, Fluid Mobility classes, line dancing, a yoga stretch with sound healing and even a class examining the neurological benefits of boxing.
Tickets are $20 or $30 with lunch included. Proceeds from the event will go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
