Brad Mathews, who has run sales teams and departments for such global brands as Weyerhaeuser and o’Brien, will teach about the foundation and application of sales in a class suitable for those already in sales, and non-sales people who could use sales skills in other aspects of their business or professional life.
Sales are important for entrepreneurs who can use sales skills to not only sell their product but to sell themselves as a leader or investment opportunity, according to Mathews, who has taught such classes as a professor. You can learn how sales skills can be essential in acing a job interview, business pitch, work presentation, transaction calls or even in the way you structure a sales team or train employees.
The class will also address what avenues of sales will take your business to the next level, whether you can land bigger accounts by yourself, how to do sales cost-effectively and how to manage a sales team.
“Don’t be afraid of being a ‘salesperson’ and selling yourself!” Mathews encourages.
KIC is located at 180 6th St. West, a block north of the Ketchum Post Office.
