The Sage School is hosting its third annual Dodge Ball Tournament and Raffle as a fundraiser for the school.
The tournament will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at Campion Ice House in Hailey.
It costs $60 to register a team of six players. Registration needs to be made at www.thesageschool.org/dodgeball by Friday.
Prizes will be awarded to the first and second place teams in each division. Players are asked to dress in costumes to identify their team.
Players in the adult division need to be 16 or older. Family teams need to have at least two players under age 16.
“The family division is playful, collegial and competitive. The adult is dog-eat-dog—high speed, high intensity and far more robust,” said Julia Zimmerman, a representative of The Sage School. “Team names, colors and costumes are encouraged to help build coordinated ‘dodge, duck, dive, dip and dodge’ strategy.”
Food, beverages and raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the event.
The Sage School, in its tenth year, is a private school located near Friedman Memorial Airport. It offers a curriculum centered on human ecology and experiences designed to promote self-awareness, community responsibility and a safe place.
