Learn how your own personal experiences may affect how a story is told. Build a clay medallion necklace. Play games. And take a self-guided tour of the art exhibition “Unraveling: Reimagining the Colonization of the Americas” during a free Family Day at The Center on Saturday.
The event takes place from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at the Sun Valley Center for the Arts, 5th and Washington streets in Ketchum. There will be a story time with cookies at 3:30 and 4:30 p.m.
“Family days are designed to allow adults and kids to do art projects together,” said Susie Quinn Fortner, the visual art education coordinator at The Center. “The event is geared for children ages 3 through 12, but all ages are welcome.”
