Sun Valley Offers Next Year’s Season Passes Now

Sun Valley Resort will begin selling its season passes for the 2019-20 winter season today.

Prices will be discounted and enhanced benefits offered through May 31.  Full pricing for the season will start on Sept. 3.

Those with a Sun Valley Challenger or College Pass will have the added benefit of a half-priced discount on daily lift ticket window rate at Vail Resorts-owned and operated destinations that are part of the Epic pass next season.

The Challenger Pass costs $1,799. It will include unlimited skiing on Bald and Dollar mountains with no blackout dates.

It also includes:

  • Two (2) 50% off friends and family discount lift tickets for the 2019-20 season with no blackout dates.
  • Unlimited skiing/riding at Snowbasin Resort in Utah.
  • Preferred hotel rates at Grand America and Little America Hotel in Salt Lake City.
  • 50% off summer 2019 season lift passes or single ride daily lift tickets.
  • 50% off the daily lift ticket price (window rate) at Vail Resorts-owned and operated destinations that are a part of the Epic Pass (unlimited, pass holder only).
  • Bonus - Challenger passes purchased and paid in full during the spring sale may be used from March 18, 2019, until last day of 2018-19 season.
  • Bonus - Challenger passes purchased and paid in full during the spring sale will receive two (2) 50% off friends & family discount lift tickets good until the last day of the 2018-19 season.

Young Adult Challenger Pass | $1,099

The same benefits as the Challenger pass with the special pricing offered to pass holders who are 29 years old and younger at the time of purchase.

 

Child Challenger Pass | $599

Valid for children 12 years old and younger.

  • Unlimited skiing/riding.
  • 50% off summer 2019 season lift passes or single ride daily lift tickets.
  • 50% off the daily lift ticket price (window rate) at Vail Resorts-owned and operated destinations that are a part of the Epic Pass (unlimited, pass holder only).

 

Freedom Found Pass | $1,199

The pass that fuses early, late and regular season into one pass. Pass holders enjoy unlimited skiing/riding on Bald and Dollar Mountains during early and late seasons, then 15 days between December 14, 2019 – March 16, 2020 (no blackout dates, restrictions or per week limits) during the regular season.

  • Unlimited skiing/riding from opening day through December 13, 2019, and March 20, 2020, through the end of the season.
  • 15 days of unrestricted riding from December 13, 2019 – March 20, 2020. No blackout dates or per week limitations.
  • 50% off daily window rate for lift tickets purchased in the regular season once past 15 days.

 

15 Day Pass | $989

Enjoy up to 15 days of unrestricted (no blackout dates or per week limitations) skiing/riding on Bald and Dollar Mountains.

  • 50% off the full-day lift ticket price for additional days – no blackout dates.
  • The 15 Day Pass may be upgraded to a Challenger or Young Adult Challenger season pass at any time. The cost will reflect the pricing of the pass during the time of the upgrade, not the time of the original purchase.
  • It can be combined with the Early/Late Pass and/or Dollar Season Pass.

 

Early/Late Pass | $389

The early/late season pass is valid from opening day through December 13, 2019, and March 20, 2020, through the end of the season. This pass is only available for purchase until November 20, 2019.

 

College Season Pass | $389

  • Current full-time (at least 12 credit hours) college students (ages 18-29) are eligible for this pass offering unrestricted skiing/boarding on Bald and Dollar Mountains.
  • College Pass holders are also eligible to receive 50% off the daily lift ticket price (window rate) at Vail Resorts-owned and operated destinations that are a part of the Epic Pass (unlimited, pass holder only).

Dollar Mountain winter passes will also go on sale today:

Dollar | Adult | $729

Pass holders can enjoy unlimited skiing and riding on Dollar Mountain. Discounted lift ticket rates on Bald Mountain when Dollar Mountain is closed.

 

Dollar | Child | $289

Pass holders can enjoy unlimited skiing and riding on Dollar Mountain. Discounted lift ticket rates on Bald Mountain when Dollar Mountain is closed.

 

The new Sun and Snow Pass offered by Sun Valley and Snowbasin near Ogden, Utah, was announced earlier this week:

 

Spring Sale | March 1-May 31, 2019 | $359/Adult and $89/Child (12 & under)

  • Three (3) days at each resort with no blackout dates (6 total days)
  • 50% off the daily window lift ticket rate after the three days have been used.
  • 50% off the daily window lift ticket rate in the Early Value season before using any pass days (optional)
  • 50% off the daily window lift ticket rate for Summer 2019.
  • Get one Child pass for $19.00 with purchase of an Adult pass (Spring Sale bonus benefit)
  • 40% off two (2) friends and family discount lift tickets for the 2019-20 season with no blackout dates - adult passes only (Spring Sale bonus benefit).
