Roots-rocking multi-instrumentalist Eric Lindell will kick off the new incarnation of The Mint with a concert on Sunday, July 15.
Lindell will perform at 9 p.m. when The Mint reopens its doors after a 10-year hiatus. Doors open at 8 p.m. for the soft launch of Bruce Willis’ former venue.
The restaurant and bar located on Main Street Hailey is expected to open full bore in October.
Lindell, a New Orleans singer known for his raspy soulful voice, mixes West coast rock and swampy New Orleans R&B with honky tonk country and Memphis soul. His original American roots music is both fresh and sweetly familiar.
He has recorded three albums with Alligator Records, with the singles “Give It Time,” “Lay Back Down” and “If Love Can’t Find a Way” receiving radio air time. His “Change in the Weather” was nominated for the Independent Music Awards’ Jam Album of the Year.
Tickets are $20 and $40, available at www.haileymint.com.
