Photographer David Tejada will talk about the world of corporate photography during a lecture at 5:30 tonight—Monday, June 25.
The talk, sponsored by the Sun Valley Center for the Arts, will take place at The Center in Hailey.
Tejada will follow up the lecture with a masterclass titled “Small Strobes, Big Results: Lighting Photography Workshop on Location” Tuesday through Thursday, June 26 through 28.
In the lecture Tejada will talk about his inspiration and influences and the challenges of such things as corporate annual report photography. The lecture is $10 for Center members and $12 for non-members. Those attending the three-day workshop may attend the lecture for free.
Students will learn how to control the quality, direction and color of light from their small strobes, how to use soft boxes, umbrellas, reflects, color gels and more at the workshop.
Tejada, who lives in Colorado, has traveled the world on assignment for such clients as CH2M Hill and Chevron Energy. His work has been featured on Nikon’s Learn and Explore website and he has taught more than 60 workshops around the world, including places like Austria, Manila, Saudi Arabia, London and Switzerland.
