Meet raptors up close and personal when the Peregrine Fund opens the third annual ERC Spring Science Series today.
The 3rd annual Spring Science Series kicks off today—Wednesday, April 25—in the Queen of the Hills room at the Community Campus in Hailey. It will continue from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays through May 23.
The program is offered by the Environmental Resource Center (ERC) and College of Southern Idaho (CSI).
It’s free, family-friendly and open to the public.
It is offered in conjunction with the ERC’s Spring Exploration Series, which brings presenters from around the Northwest to second- and third-grade classrooms in Blaine County. The program reaches more than 550 students each year.
Upcoming programs:
May 2—A representative of Idaho National Laboratory’s Environmental Surveillance, Education and Research program will teach weather basics.
May 9—Zoo Idaho will bring live animals that are native to Idaho.
May 16—Craters of the Moon representatives will discuss bats of Idaho.
May 23—Representatives of the Idaho Museum of Natural History will present a Mammoth Murder Mystery.
