Seven-time world champion mountain biker Rebecca Rusch will talk about her journey “From Athlete to Advocate to Agent of Change” in a free talk on Wednesday.
Rusch will speak from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, at the Ketchum Innovation Center (KIC), 311 1st Avenue North.
Beer, wine and snacks will be provided.
Rusch is shaping her career to go beyond the medal podiums, building her community and bringing attention to the causes close to her heart at the same time she’s building her business. She will share her entrepreneurial tactics for building a career on passion and the path less traveled. And she’ll offer tips on how to identify one’s core values and forge one’s own path.
YOUNG INNOVATORS TO PITCH ON TUESDAY
The Young Innovators group at the Ketchum Innovation Center will hold an elevator pitch seminar from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, at KIC. The date was changed from its original time of Feb. 20.
Facilitators will provide an outline for identifying and communicating core skills during a time of networking. Then, attendees will have the chance to introduce themselves using that outline.
