Sylvie Dore will lead an evening on Shamanic Journeying for this month’s meeting of the Joseph Campbell Mythological RoundTable of Ketchum.
The event is being held from 6 to 8 p.m. at Light on the Mountains Center for Spiritual Living. The center is located just north of the Sawtooth Botanical Garden at 12446 State Highway 75 (look for the red, yellow and orange banner flags).
Dore will guide attendees in learning about their own personal mythology. The guided journey will be followed by a discussion on the role of imagination, archetypes and the usefulness of such tools to better understand oneself and the collective human experience.
Dore is a women’s empowerment mentor, Shamanic Reiki energy healer, herbal potion maker and red tent facilitator in the Wood River Valley. She also concocts elderberry elixir, fermented sauerkraut and other products for NourishMe.
The Joseph Campbell Mythological RoundTable is facilitated by Jan Peppler, who arranges monthly meetings with guest speakers, videos and book discussions.
