Fly Sun Valley Alliance in partnership with Sun Valley Resort and the Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN), recently announced the SUN airline flight schedule for the 2024 summer and fall season. The schedule offers nonstop flights to six cities – Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, and Salt Lake City - with extended service to Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago, as well as more frequent daily flights to Denver.

“This summer and fall schedule will offer more daily Denver flights and an extended season from late May to late fall for many of the flights, all of which benefit our local residents and SUN travelers who rely on strong and convenient air service,” said Fly Sun Valley Alliance Director Carol Waller.

United Airlines will continue its daily year-round nonstop Denver (DEN) flights adding an additional daily flight from May 23 to September 25.

United will extend its nonstop Los Angeles (LAX) and San Fransisco flights twice weekly beginning May 26 through June 23 for LAX and May 23 through June 23 for SFO, then will run daily flights from June 26 for LAX and June 28 for SFO to September 2nd and back to twice weekly flights from Sept 4 to October 23.

United will also extend its twice weekly nonstop Chicago (ORD) flights twice weekly on Saturdays and Sundays to begin May 25 and run through September 1.

Alaska Airlines will temporarily suspend its Seattle (SEA) service for the period of April 16 – May 15 and then resume twice weekly flights from May 16 – June 9, increasing to daily flights from June 13 – September 30, and then twice weekly flights in October and November.

Delta Air Lines year-round service will include two daily nonstop Salt Lake City (SLC) flights spring through fall, and the airline has indicated it will add back a third daily flight as soon as it is feasible to do so.

The overall SUN scheduled seat capacity for the 2024 summer/fall season, May through October, is up 11% over 2023.

Flights are available for booking and the detailed 2024 summer/fall schedule is available at www.flysunvalleyalliance.com.
