Are you up for skiing through 12 Bellevue intersections? And a half-dozen more in Ketchum?
The Blaine County Recreation District is inviting the community to take part in the 2023 Wood River Trail Challenge between Jan. 27 and Feb. 28.
Participants must ski, walk, snowshoe or snowbike the entire 32 kilometers of the Wood River Trail, aka the bike path, from Hulen Meadows in Ketchum to Gannett Road in Bellevue. The challenge can be done in one fell swoop or it can be done in sections over four weeks.
Those who complete the challenge will receive a prize from the BCRD and be entered to win a free 2023/24 BCRD Nordic season pass.
The BCRD grooms the trail during winter. There is no charge to use it.
