Given the opening day ski crowd at Sun Valley Resort, it’s amazing there was anyone left to do the Turkey Trot.

But hundreds of people turned out to trot in The Chamber’s annual fun run designed to relieve any of the later-day guilt involved with sitting down to a dinner of turkey and gravy and pumpkin pie and whipped cream.

Runners were greeted with a sunny morning and temperatures destined for the low 40s as they congregated at the Hailey Town Center. And pretty soon happy two-legged and four-legged were making their way through Draper Preserve and across the Bow Bridge.

Jan Wasman was among those who toasted the Trot with a glass of mimosa.

Others? Well, they just wagged their tails!
