Nature Journaling Club to Inspire Wonder of Outdoors
Monday, November 14, 2022

Learn to enhance your appreciation of nature by nature journaling.

Local birder and artist Poo Wright-Pulliam and Kimber Trau are starting a new Wood River Nature Journal Club that they hope will get people out in nature, open their curiosity and inspire wonder.

The first meeting, which is open to all ages, will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 19, at Town Center West, 116 S. River St., Hailey.

The two longtime journal keepers will discuss what nature journaling is all about, discuss supplies and hand out links and a list of books that can help people delve into nature journaling.

“Nature journaling is not just about sketching. It’s about learning to take notes with good observation. No art ability is required,” said Wright-Pulliam.

Keep track of the club’s doings on their new Facebook page at Wood River Nature Journal Club.
