Sun Valley Resort will hold Family Night at Sun Valley On ice on Saturday, Aug. 24.

One child 12 years and under will be admitted free with a paying adult to see the show, which stars Jeremy Abbott.

Abbott is a Grand Prix Final champion and a four-time U.S. national champion who won a bronze medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics. He began skating at 2 and began competing at age four after seeing Robin Cousins.

But there’s more to the night than Abbott and the Sun Valley skaters who skate through fire, comic falls and graceful twirls.

There’ll be a party in the village beginning at 7 p.m. with games, crafts, popcorn and train rides. The show itself will start at 9 p.m.

Sun Valley Resort will close out the 2019 Sun Valley Ice season on Saturday, Aug. 31, with Olympic Bronze Medalists Ashley Cain and Timothy LeDuc.

Ryan Bingham and The Social Animals will take the stage at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1.

Tickets to the ice show start at $29, available at https://sunvalley.ticketfly.com. Concert tickets start at $35.
